What this role is responsible for.
This role is for dependable caregivers who can provide hands-on support, follow care plans closely, and communicate clearly with the team. U&I Home Care is looking for applicants who are comfortable in a structured adult foster care setting and who understand the importance of consistency, compassion, and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, meals, mobility, and daily routines.
- Maintain resident supervision and help create a clean, calm, and safe home environment.
- Follow care plans and report relevant changes in condition, behavior, or support needs.
- Document services, routines, and required notes accurately and on time.
- Work with the team to maintain consistency across shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage when scheduled.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is helpful, and any available certification documents may be uploaded with the application.
- Ability to work in a licensed adult foster care setting with professionalism and reliability.
- Comfort with resident support, structured routines, and documentation expectations.
- Prior direct care or group-home experience is helpful, especially with DWIHN IDD 1:1 support and progress notes.
